The lenses incorporate the CooperVision Binocular Progressive System, which addresses all levels of presbyopia; the company says the system ensures optimal visual acuity at various distances and simplifies the fitting process for practitioners. Features include the Optimized Comfort Edge, an upgraded edge design, and WetLoc Technology, which is designed to lock in moisture throughout the day.

The clariti 1 day multifocal 3 Add also comes in an extensive range of sphere powers, from +8.00 D to -12.00 D. In clinical studies, 98% of patients were successfully fit with their final clariti 1 day multifocal 3 Add prescription using two pairs of lenses or fewer.

The company plans to launch the product in markets outside the United States later this year.
